SOIRÉ has proudly submitted its inaugural Blanco expression to the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), one of the most influential and time-honored judging platforms in the global spirits landscape. With this submission, SOIRÉ continues its path toward becoming a category-defining name in ultra-premium rum.
What Is the San Francisco World Spirits Competition?
Founded in 2000, the SFWSC is regarded as a gold standard in the spirits industry. Each year, thousands of entries are blind-tasted and evaluated by a panel of seasoned industry professionals, including master distillers, spirits buyers, journalists, and educators. The competition’s reputation is built on integrity, accuracy, and the extraordinary caliber of its judging panel.
Medals from the SFWSC are not handed out liberally. They are earned. To receive recognition is to be validated by the very experts who help shape the industry’s trends, quality standards, and market trajectory.
Why SOIRÉ Is Participating
Our entry into the SFWSC reflects a deliberate ambition. We are not here to follow tradition—we are here to redefine it. Rum, too often relegated to nostalgia or novelty, deserves its renaissance. SOIRÉ intends to lead that movement.
Submitting to this particular competition enables our team to benchmark against the finest spirits in the world. It also signals our belief in the craftsmanship behind SOIRÉ Blanco: a rare blend developed with exacting standards, steeped in history, and finished with a future-facing mindset.
Inside the Expression: What We Submitted
SOIRÉ Blanco is a limited small-batch rum expression, crafted in collaboration with E&A Scheer, the world’s foremost rum blending house with origins tracing back to 1712. The blend includes 2-to-5-year aged white rums sourced from Trinidad, the Dominican Republic, and Barbados, including distillates from Foursquare Distillery and Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos. Each element is selected for character, clarity, and cohesion.
After blending, the rum is charcoal-filtered for brightness without sacrificing aroma or body. The result is a strikingly clean profile with subtle layers of toasted sugarcane, caraway cracker, and dry tropical fruit. No additives. No shortcuts. Just world-class rum designed to perform neat, over ice, or as the center of a refined cocktail.
What a Win Would Mean
A medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is more than recognition. It becomes a signal to collectors, distributors, and global venues that a new standard is in play. This award would anchor SOIRÉ among an elite tier of producers known for quality, consistency, and distinction. It would support placement in top-tier hospitality environments and strengthen our position as the rum of choice for the next generation of refined drinkers.
A Spirit for the Present, Built with the Past, Designed for the Future
SOIRÉ is not a nostalgia brand. Nor are we seeking to replicate past formulas. Our vision is rooted in real innovation—bridging culture, hospitality, and ownership through consumable goods. From NFC-enabled bottle authentication to upcoming collector-only drops, SOIRÉ exists at the intersection of tradition and technology.
The submission to the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is a tribute to the heritage of fine spirits. It is also a challenge issued on behalf of rum itself: to rise, to evolve, and to be experienced with fresh eyes and global reverence.
As our first bottles begin to circulate and our community grows, the results of this competition will mark a significant early chapter in what we are building.
SOIRÉ is not entering this arena lightly. We are entering it to win.
